So i got some different opinions and different thoughts on them. After seeing the new Mathews flyer/magazine the Halon X looks to be not that close to the Halon 5/6/7. Still waiting for that to arrive at the shops in order to shoot it.Actually the HTX is faster. It only goes to a 28 inch draw length so you are comparing it at 28 to the HTR at 30. It's faster because of the reduced brace height. But it is also less forgiving. The HTR is one of the most forgiving and smoothest drawing bows Mathews has ever made in my opinion.
